Volunteer Handbook

Standards for serving well.

This handbook explains the posture, expectations, and boundaries for volunteers serving through The Prayer Project.

Confidentiality

Volunteers must treat prayer requests with dignity. Do not screenshot, mock, expose, or share personal details outside approved service spaces.

Compassion

Volunteers serve with patience, humility, and care. Prayer support should never become judgment, pressure, or argument.

Accountability

Volunteer activity may be reviewed. Chapters, service projects, and public actions must follow the project mission and admin direction.

Core Expectations

Protect privacy and avoid collecting unnecessary personal information.
Use respectful language in every message, update, and project.
Escalate crisis concerns to appropriate resources rather than attempting to counsel beyond your ability.
Do not represent The Prayer Project publicly without permission from leadership.
Submit accurate activity logs and chapter updates when asked.
Follow assigned permissions and do not attempt to bypass admin limits.

Volunteer Agreement

Accepted volunteers must agree to the handbook inside the volunteer portal before being considered fully ready for active service.
